Candlelighters Everyday Extraordinary Breakfast

Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada is turning 45 years old this year!  We have been walking side-by-side, hand-in-hand with our local families experiencing a childhood cancer diagnoses since 1978. At Candlelighters we love celebrating birthdays. We couldn’t do what we do without the support from our business community.  So to say thank you, we would like to invite you to our very first event of our celebration year – The complimentary 4th Annual Everyday Extraordinary Breakfast. This year it will be held at a venue in your own backyard! – The Dollar Loan Center Arena – on Wednesday, March 1 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. We know you are busy so we are keeping this event timing pretty tight to get our favorite businessy, grown up types back into the office in a jiffy. This event is an opportunity to showcase our selfless community partners and share stories of our kiddos and their families. This year, this is also when we are going to announce our birthday wish for 2023. Please RSVP here to secure your spot: https://www.candlelightersnv.org/events/everyday-extraordinary-breakfast.html.

It is our honor to help spark a little brightness in an otherwise dark time for many of our families by helping take away some of the stressors that come with a childhood cancer diagnosis so the families can focus on their child first and foremost. In the last decade alone, Candlelighters has provided nearly $13 million in financial assistance, emotional support and quality of life programs and services to families in the community in order to help with the significant costs of childhood cancer including medical expenses and travel for treatment, as well as, the rapidly rising costs of rent, mortgage and utilities.  We are able to provide this incredible support for the hundreds of families navigating everything that comes with a cancer diagnoses for newborns to 22 years of age, thanks to the generous financial support of our donors, partners and sponsors.  Today, as we mark this big birthday, we are looking ahead to what’s next for us in 2023 and beyond as we continue to expand to support the growing need in our community https://www.candlelightersnv.org/make-a-difference/donate.html
