Henderson Health and Rehabilitation ranked as the largest nursing home in Clark County for the first quarter of 2026, data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) show.
The facility offered 266 beds—146 more than the county average—throughout the period, with an average daily census of 237 residents.
The CMS gave Henderson Health and Rehabilitation an overall rating of 2 out of 5, below Nevada’s statewide nursing home average of 3.3.
For the quarter, TLC Care Center was second among Clark County nursing homes with 255 beds, while Oasis Nursing & Rehab of Green Valley ranked third, offering 242 beds.
By the close of the first quarter of 2026, Henderson Health and Rehabilitation had accrued $40,830 in fines and received one penalty.
There were a total of 39 for-profit nursing homes operating in Clark County, Nevada, during this timeframe.
U.S. Census Bureau data indicates that the number of older adults is increasing as younger populations decline nationwide. From 2020 to 2024, Americans aged 65 or older rose by 13%, while the count of individuals under 18 dropped by 1.7%. The nation’s older population has expanded significantly compared with the previous century, growing from 4.9 million in 1920 to more than 61 million by 2024.
A 2021 analysis estimates that about half of these older adults—roughly 28 million Americans—could require long-term services and support, with over one-third predicted to eventually need nursing home care.
“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
