Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on social media addressing issues ranging from community solidarity and health care to support for individuals with disabilities.
On October 19, 2025, Lee wrote about her participation in a memorial event at Temple Beth Sholom: “I joined southern Nevadans at Temple Beth Sholom to honor the lives lost on Oct. 7 — the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. I will continue to stand with our Jewish community — to support Israel, protect our houses of worship, & combat antisemitism.”
Later that same day, she addressed health care policy and ongoing government operations: “This is not a Democrat or a Republican issue. Health care affects EVERYONE! Republicans must come to the table so we can stop health care costs from skyrocketing and re-open the government. Save health care, cancel the cuts, get costs under control.”
On October 20, Lee highlighted local artistic initiatives supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities: “Check out this awesome cap designed by talented #OVArtworksStudio artist Sharen! Thank you @OppVillageLV and @BoydGaming for helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities discover their artistic voice. #WearTheHeart”
Lee has served as Nevada’s 3rd District representative since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
