Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed a range of policy issues and local events in a series of posts on her social media account.
On September 3, 2025, Lee warned Nevadans about an impending increase in health care premiums. She wrote, “If you enroll in your health care plan through Nevada Health Link you might see your premiums rise by 17.5%. Why’s that? Because Republicans in Washington cut tax credits that help over 100,000 Nevadans access affordable coverage.”
The following day, Lee highlighted her visit to a new local business. On September 4, she posted, “I had an awesome time at The Shack Las Vegas with its co-owner, Joshua! This new, vibrant, AANHPI-and-veteran-owned barbershop and podcast studio just had their grand opening last month so I was glad to stop by and hear how I can support businesses like theirs. Joshua and his”.
Later on September 4, Lee addressed labor protections for home health care workers. She stated, “Home health care workers deserve dignity and fair pay. But the Dept. of Labor is planning to strip minimum wage and overtime protections from home health care workers who care for more than 9 million seniors and people with disabilities across our country. I’m fighting to”.
Lee has served as the representative for Nevada’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
