Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several issues facing Nevada residents through a series of posts on October 21, 2025. The tweets covered topics ranging from affordable housing and energy costs to healthcare access.

On October 21, Lee celebrated the opening of a new affordable housing project by Nevada HAND. She wrote, “So glad I could join @NevadaHANDLV to celebrate the grand opening of their new Buffalo Cactus Senior Apartments.

Thank you for your commitment to addressing the housing crisis in our state by building beautiful, affordable apartments like these.

Later that day, Lee commented on rising energy costs and federal regulations. She stated, “Red tape from the Trump Administration is driving up the cost of YOUR energy bill in Nevada. My Nevada colleagues and I sent a letter demanding answers.

Addressing concerns about healthcare affordability, Lee posted: “Health care is already too expensive for families in southern Nevada. Now, millions of Americans might lose health coverage entirely because of Republicans in Washington.

Susie Lee has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen as representative for Nevada’s 3rd District. Born in Canton, Ohio in 1966, Lee currently resides in Las Vegas and holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University.
