Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted her legislative and community efforts in a series of social media posts between April 8 and April 10, 2026.
On April 8, Lee announced new funding for state law enforcement: “So glad I could secure $360,000 for our Nevada State Police with @RepHorsford ! We’re helping law enforcement purchase VR technology to more thoroughly prepare police officers for the realities of the job, so they can be better equipped to handle real-world emergencies.”
The following day, Lee addressed federal spending priorities by contrasting military expenditures with domestic programs: “One day of Trump’s war in Iran costs $2 billion. Instead we could:
Expand Women’s Business Centers and drive $30 billion in economic activity
Fund Veterans Business Outreach Center programs for 100 years
Support Disaster Loan Programs and help tens of thousands of”
On April 10, she turned attention to election security: “Nevadans want Congress to ensure that our elections are safe and secure — and that only the citizens eligible to vote are the ones voting.Â

Lee has represented Nevada’s 3rd District since replacing Jacky Rosen in 2019. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University.
