Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted several messages on her social media account highlighting community achievements, civil rights advocacy, and health care concerns.
On October 11, 2025, Lee congratulated the Las Vegas Aces for their latest victory. She wrote: “The champs do it again! Huge win for the @LVAces tonight — proving once again why they’re the best in the game. #RaiseTheStakes #Aces
Congrats to A’ja — officially the GOAT of WNBA.”
Later that same day, she acknowledged National Coming Out Day with a statement supporting LGBTQ+ rights: “On #NationalComingOutDay, we celebrate those who live their truth every day and reaffirm our fight for the equality and dignity of the LGBTQ+ community.
Together, we are creating a more equal, just, and loving future.”
On October 12, 2025, Lee addressed concerns about health care affordability in Nevada. She highlighted an individual case and broader implications if ACA premium tax credits expire: “Marcus is a Nevadan who can’t afford the skyrocketing health care prices that will come with the expiration of the ACA premium tax credits. Estimates show that families of four could be paying nearly 200% more for their health care without these credits.
ALL Nevadans will be”.
Susie Lee has represented Nevada’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. Born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and now residing in Las Vegas at age 56, Lee holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University.
