At 6 p.m. on Friday, April 10, UNLV Rebels, the current college team of former Basic Academy of International Studies standout Cooper Sheff, posted a 13-8 NCAA Division I win over the Grand Canyon Antelopes.

The contest, held at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark, marked the season’s first meeting between the Rebels and the Antelopes.

Sheff contributed one hit in four at-bats, two runs, three RBIs, one walk, two strikeouts, and left one runner stranded on base.

The Rebels are set to face the Antelopes again at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark on Saturday, April 11.
