Clark County Commissioners opened a new bridge on Eastside.

In a press release issued on Sept. 19, 2022, Clark County confirmed that Commission Chairman Jim Gibson and Commissioner Tick Segerblom inaugurated a new bridge on the eastside of the valley.

According to the press release, the bridge comes as one element of a greater project that will repave as well as add new bike lanes, as well as other street essentials, along Desert Inn. These expansions will range from Blue Ash Lane to Hollywood Boulevard.

“This new bridge is great for East Las Vegas,” Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom said in the press release. “It improves access for residents to U.S. 95, and eventually to a new major road connecting to Henderson.”

The building project was carried out by William Charles Construction, who served as the main contractor throughout the entire undertaking.

Clark County is the 11th largest county in the United States, containing the nation’s 7th largest airport and a population of about one million.
