Henderson Police Conclude Joining Forces Event Targeting Speeders

The Henderson Police Department concluded its 3rd campaign under the current Joining Forces Program. 

During the enforcement initiative that ran from December 9th through January 3rd, 2023, Henderson Police stopped a total of 603 motorists.

Of the 603 traffic stops, motorists were issued 416 speeding citations, 9 citations for distracted driving (such as cell phone use), and several other citations issued for other traffic related offenses. 

Henderson Police Department received $231,300 in federal funding for the enhanced enforcement initiatives through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2023 Joining Forces program.
