On Saturday, March 8, former Lake Mead Christian Academy standout Mackenzie Sorrels’ current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans.

The game took place at Vulcan Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Vulcans this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 4 p.m. at Cougar Softball Complex against Dominican Penguins.
