On Friday, Feb. 7, former Green Valley High School standout Joseph Steidel’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Point Loma Sea Lions.

The game took place at Carroll B. Land Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sea Lions this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at Carroll B. Land Stadium against Point Loma Sea Lions.
