Senator Carrie Ann Buck, EdD, has recently addressed federal land management and immigration policy in a series of posts on her official X account.
On October 16, 2025, Buck commented on the challenges facing Nevada’s growth due to federal land control: “Nevada can’t grow if D.C. hoards the land. Families are boxed out of homeownership while federal bureaucrats sit on the keys. I’ll work with President Trump to unlock that land, build for Nevada, and FINISH THE JOB.”
A day later, on October 17, 2025, Buck criticized Democratic immigration policies and called for stricter enforcement: “Democrats are committed to keeping illegal aliens in our country, no matter the cost. Well, here’s my message to them: Mass migration will be met with mass deportation. America is a nation of laws, PERIOD.”
On October 18, 2025, Buck shared her experience attending a political event: “Great afternoon at the Nevada Republican Club’s Monthly Luncheon earlier this week! Always motivating to gather with fellow conservatives who also care deeply about Nevada’s future.”
Federal ownership of land in Nevada has long been a topic of debate among state leaders and policymakers. Nearly 85% of Nevada’s land is managed by federal agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service—a situation that often influences housing development and economic growth discussions within the state.
Immigration remains a central issue in national politics. Disagreements between parties over border security measures and pathways to citizenship have shaped legislative debates for years.
