City of Henderson issued the following announcement on July 21.
Suspect Arrested in Homicide Investigation
Henderson, Nev. - Henderson Detectives identified 33-year-old Jovan Trevino as the suspect.
On July 20th, 2021, an arrest warrant was approved for Trevino’s arrest for two counts of Murder.
On July 20th, 2021, Trevino was taken into custody by Bullhead City Police Department and booked into the Mojave County Jail for two counts of Murder. For Trevino’s booking photo please contact the Bullhead City Police Department.
Trevino is currently pending extradition to Nevada.
This case has not been adjudicated; therefore, no further details will be released at this time.

Henderson Police Investigating Homicide
Henderson, Nev. – On July 19, 2021 at approximately 06:33 P.M. the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the 700 block of Calamus Palm Place in reference to a medical emergency.
Paramedics arrived on scene and confirmed that a one-year-old female and a four-year-old male were beyond assistance and deceased at the scene.
The incident is being investigated as a Homicide.
The name of the decedents will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.
As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
This is being investigated as the ninth and tenth homicide for the City of Henderson for 2021.
