Tonight with SNU MFA Interdisciplinary Arts :
Rob Reynolds is an L.A. based artist, working in painting, sculpture, sound and video, and digital media. His projects seek to make the unseen visible, with a recent focus on human caused climate change and perception. Recent shows include Overview: New Paintings at Anthony Meier Fine Arts, San Francisco, May-June 2021; Emergency on Planet Earth (In a Time Close to Now), UTA Artists Space, Oct-Nov 2020, Art Basel and Frieze art fairs.
He has exhibited his artwork and public projects widely, screening videos on Sunset Blvd. billboards in Los Angeles, with solo shows previously at LAXART, and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, with an ongoing outdoor installation in museum park, Denver, Colorado. His work is in public and private collections, including LACMA and the RISD Museum. Rob is currently a Berggruen Institute Artist Fellow, and teaches at Sierra Nevada University, previously teaching and lecturing at Brown, Harvard, USC, and UCLA.
He is a graduate of Brown University and The Whitney Program, also studying in the School of Art Architecture and Planning at Cornell, and at the Boston Museum School.
