The date has been set for the "Hoppin' Down the Bonnie Trail" egg hunt.
The event will be hosted by Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick and Clark County’s Parks & Recreation and Fire Departments on Saturday, April, 9, a release from Clark County said.
The event will include a breakfast hosted at Fire Station 20, located at 5865 Judson St. from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with the egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside of the Bob Price Recreation Center, which is adjacent to the fire station, the release said.
Kirkpatrick encouraged parents to bring their children to the event and partake in the festivities.
“We are happy to team up with Fire Station 20 and our staff and volunteers from the Cora Coleman Senior Center and Bob Price Recreation Center to host this family friendly event,” Kirkpatrick said, according to the release. “We encourage kids and their parents and grandparents to join the fun, and don’t forget to register ahead for the egg hunts!”
The open house at the fire station will include demonstrations of how to remove someone from car crashes, along with tours of the station facility, preventing someone from drowning and other safety tips.
