Las Vegas College recently issued the following announcement.

As the United States’ healthcare industry has grown over recent years there has been an increasing demand for medical professionals, and allied healthcare workers in particular. A term used to classify up to 100 different healthcare careers, allied health workers are defined as any medical professional besides doctors and nurses. Medical Biller/Coders, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Lab Assistants, and Athletic Trainers all fall into this field. Allied healthcare careers are varied and each is unique in its job description, but are generally growing, in-demand fields in today’s economy. At Las Vegas College, we train students for allied healthcare careers, and our Medical Billing and Coding and Lab Assistant/EKG Technician/Phlebotomist programs are enrolling now! Read on to learn more about how you can join the growing allied healthcare field, with training from Las Vegas College.
