City of Henderson recently issued the following announcement.
The City Council may place ballot questions on any General Election ballot. The next General Election will be held on November 8, 2022.
At its regular meeting March 22, 2022, the City Council approved one question for the 2022 Municipal General Election ballot regarding selling 16.3 acres of City-owned land to develop a grocery store and retail. You can read the question here.
At its regular meeting on April 12, 2022, the City Council will be considering an additional ballot question regarding spending up to $2 million from the Capital Improvement Fund for improvements to public safety facilities.
The City is seeking volunteers to write the arguments for and against passage of the ballot questions. If you are interested in serving on a ballot question committee, please complete the volunteer data at the link below, and return the form to the City Clerk's office at cityclerk@bcnv.org, or 401 California Avenue, Boulder City NV 89005.
