A new Ace Hardware store is celebrating its grand opening Tuesday, July 5, in Las Vegas.

Ace Hardware, located at 3145 E. Tropicana Ave., will be operated by Nick Nelson. This store brings Ace Hardware's unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service, paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products, to southeastern and central Vegas residents.

This location has been designed to reflect the needs of Las Vegas, including solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products in categories such as paint, lawn and garden.

It will be packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes. Key product offerings include hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home decor, as well as niche products such as Craftsman, DeWalt, Scotts, Weber,  Benjamin Moore, Clark+Kensington, Big Green Egg, Toro, Stihl, YETI and EGO.

“Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace,” Ace Hardware officials said in a press release. “We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store.”

Ace Hardware is the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world, with more than 5,600 locally owned and operated hardware stores in approximately 70 countries.

Ace is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. The company and its subsidiaries operate an expansive network of distribution centers in the U.S. and have distribution capabilities in China, Panama and the United Arab Emirates. Since 1924, Ace has become a part of local communities around the world and is known as the place with the "helpful hardware folks."
