HENDERSON, Nev. (March 16, 2023) – The City of Henderson special election to fill the Ward 1 vacancy kicks off March 20 with ballot drop-off.
Henderson City Council approved a resolution in January to declare a special election to fill Mayor Michelle Romero’s former Ward 1 City Council seat. The special election will be held on April 3 for registered voters residing in Ward I.
The following is the special election voting schedule:
Ballot Drop-off
Henderson City Hall
Monday, March 20 - Monday, April 3 (except Friday - Sunday)
7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Early Voting Period
Henderson City Hall
Tuesday, March 28 - Thursday, March 30
7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Election Day
Henderson City Hall
Monday, April 3, 2023
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The special election for City Council Ward I is only open for registered voters who reside in Ward I.
