On January 21, 2025, Congresswoman Lee discussed the recent selection of fifteen new prescription drugs for Medicare price negotiations as a result of the Inflation Reduction Act. She noted the impact this development would have on constituents by stating: "Last week, 15 new prescription drugs were selected for Medicare price negotiations, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act that I helped pass. What does that mean for you? Lower prescription drug costs and more money in your pocket."

The following day, January 22, 2025, she addressed former President Donald Trump's actions regarding law enforcement.
