Congresswoman Susie Lee, representing Nevada's 3rd district since 2019, shared updates on her recent activities and stances through a series of tweets. Lee, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress after succeeding Jacky Rosen, addressed various issues pertinent to her constituents in southern Nevada.

On January 23, 2025, Lee announced her appointment to the House Appropriations Committee. She emphasized her commitment to advocating for federal investments beneficial to southern Nevada by stating: "This week, I was officially appointed to the House Appropriations Committee. I'll continue to serve as southern Nevada's only voice in the room where our most important decisions on federal investments are made. I’ll keep fighting to bring back investments to our community."

Later that day, Lee expressed her opposition to legislation affecting healthcare providers in Nevada. On January 23, she tweeted: "Today, I voted against extreme legislation that will worsen the OB-GYN and physician shortage in Nevada by making it a crime for doctors to provide appropriate care to newborns." She warned that such a bill would exacerbate existing shortages of medical professionals in the state.

On January 24, Lee addressed concerns regarding corporate landlords' practices. In a tweet posted on this date, she stated: "Big Corporate Landlords shouldn’t be allowed to cheat their tenants just to make an extra dollar." She referred specifically to an ongoing lawsuit by the Federal Trade Commission against Greystar over alleged rent price misrepresentations at its properties in southern Nevada.
