Congresswoman Susie Lee, serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nevada’s 3rd district, shared significant developments on issues vital to her state. Lee, active in legislative measures and calls for collaboration, expressed her views on federal decisions impacting Nevada on social media.
On April 16, 2025, Susie Lee indicated relief that "When the Administration said they were cutting investments for a Manufacturing Extension Partnership center in Nevada, I called for reversal of that decision." Lee announced the renewal of investments, highlighting the significance of these centers in equipping small and mid-sized manufacturers with necessary tools.
In another statement on April 16, 2025, Lee described her bipartisanship efforts, "I’ve worked with Republicans and Democrats before to speed up federal land transactions and address Nevada’s housing shortage." She emphasized that accessing some of Nevada's federally owned land, which comprises 80% of the state, could be part of the solution.
Continuing her narrative on the same day, Lee stressed the need for bipartisan effort, saying, "It’s going to take similar collaboration between all sides to strike the balance seen in our proposed Clark County Lands Bill." This bill aims to ensure federal land is used for accessible housing while safeguarding public lands' integrity.
Susie Lee has been a U.S. Congress member since 2019, after taking over from Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio, in 1966 and resides in Las Vegas.
