Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates and greetings with her constituents through a series of posts on social media.

On April 5, 2026, Lee addressed fiscal responsibility and policy priorities for southern Nevada. She wrote, “You work hard to earn your money. That’s why I’m committed to making sure we spend taxpayer dollars responsibly:

Creating jobs and opportunities for southern Nevadans
Making health care affordable
Generating cheaper, cleaner energy at home

But Republicans would rather”.

Later that day, she extended holiday wishes to her followers: “From my family to yours, Happy Easter! Wishing everyone celebrating a joyful day filled with hope, renewal, and time spent with loved ones.” (April 5, 2026).

On April 6, 2026, Lee commented on national energy policies and their impact on household costs. She stated: “Since Trump took office, household electric bills are up 13% because of his Administration’s reckless policies that are killing clean energy. I’m fighting to build more solar in Nevada so we can generate the power we need right in our own backyard.”

Susie Lee has served as the congressional representative for Nevada’s 3rd District since replacing Jacky Rosen in 2019. Born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently residing in Las Vegas, Lee is also an alumna of Carnegie Mellon University.
