Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed economic challenges facing her constituents through a series of posts on her official Twitter account.
On May 7, 2026, Lee criticized former President Donald Trump’s foreign policy and its domestic consequences: “Trump’s war in Iran has made your gas over $5/gallon. Businesses like Universal Motorcars are paying the price.”
Later that day, she highlighted broader economic concerns for Nevadans: “Nevadans are losing their jobs because this Administration can’t stop antagonizing our allies and creating economic chaos at every turn.”
On May 8, during Small Business Week, Lee acknowledged the contributions of local entrepreneurs: “Southern Nevada wouldn’t be what it is without our small businesses. I’m forever grateful to represent a place with so many entrepreneurs, builders, and workers making our community a better place.”
Lee has served as the representative for Nevada’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. Born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently residing in Las Vegas, Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
