Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of tweets on October 15, 2025, addressing solar energy projects, employment at Lake Mead, and Hispanic Heritage Month.

In her posts, Lee criticized the current administration’s policies on solar energy in Nevada. On October 15, she wrote: “(6/6) The Administration is wrecking solar projects and killing jobs across Nevada:” (posted at 15:28 UTC). She also commented on job losses at Lake Mead, stating: “(2/6) DOGE fired workers at Lake Mead and failed:” (posted at 15:34 UTC).

Later that day, Lee recognized Hispanic Heritage Month with a post highlighting the diversity of her district. She said: “As we close out #HispanicHeritageMonth, I’m proud to represent a district where nearly one in four residents are Hispanic — and where their contributions strengthen our community every single day. #NV03” (posted at 23:03 UTC).

Susie Lee has served as the representative for Nevada’s 3rd congressional district since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee earned her bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
