Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has used her social media platform to address rising health care costs and the impact of federal policies on Nevadans.
On October 6, 2025, Lee wrote: “Republicans in Washington took away the ACA Enhanced Premium Tax Credits, raising costs for ALL Nevadans.
A family of four making $64,000/year will see their health care premiums SKYROCKET by $2,500 annually.
I’m fighting to protect these tax credits and lower costs for https://t.co/OLvmW9jo43“.
Later that day, she posted another message stating: “Health care costs are going up for ALL Nevadans. Insurance premiums are going to rise an average of 26% and the expiration of ACA tax credits is going to make it much harder for Nevadans to afford their health care.

On October 7, 2025, Lee addressed trade policy impacts with a post saying: “This is a direct result of the Trump Administration’s crazy tariff policies making life more expensive for Nevadans.
Lee has served as the representative for Nevada’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University.
