Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently used her social media platform to engage with constituents on topics ranging from sustainable transportation to education milestones.
On May 15, Lee encouraged her followers to participate in a national initiative by posting: “Driving to work today? Take your bike instead #BikeToWorkDay https://t.co/jh3SkbkpZ8”.
The following day, May 16, she congratulated college students across southern Nevada as they finished their academic year and prepared for commencement ceremonies. In her post, Lee wrote: “Happy last day of school for all our wonderful college students across southern Nevada! Have a great summer And a huge congratulations to our students celebrating commencement this weekend – wishing you all the best. “.
On May 17, Lee highlighted her participation at an event hosted by the College of Southern Nevada’s Communication Department. She posted: “It was so great to meet the COM 101 students and listen to their amazing speeches at the CSN Communication Department Public Speaking Festival! Public speaking isn’t easy–congratulations on delivering incredible speeches, and keep up the great work! https://t.co/aoBW1HikU9”.
Lee has represented Nevada’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
