Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets between April 28 and April 29, 2026, highlighting community colleges, critiquing former President Donald Trump’s approach to foreign policy, and celebrating a colleague’s birthday.

On April 28, Lee marked Community College Month by expressing appreciation for local educational institutions: “April is Community College Month! Every year, community colleges help countless southern Nevadans get an affordable education and open doors to new opportunities. Thank you to all the students, faculty, and staff for making our community colleges so great!”

The following day, on April 29, she commented on ongoing international conflict involving Iran: “Trump doesn’t have a plan to end the war Iran and the American people are paying for it “

Later that same day, Lee congratulated her congressional colleague: “Happy Birthday to my friend and colleague, @RepHorsford. It’s an honor to serve Nevada beside you!”

Lee has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen as representative of Nevada’s 3rd district. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
