Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently highlighted her ongoing community engagement and advocacy efforts through a series of posts on social media.
On October 4, 2025, Lee addressed issues of justice and legal access in Nevada, stating, “We know the saying: justice delayed is justice denied. And when justice is denied because people don’t have access, we all suffer. Thank you, Nevada Legal Services, for providing free legal services to Nevadans who need it most. Congratulations to all the Champions of Justice”.
The following day, October 5, she shared her appreciation for being recognized by a local organization for her support of veterans: “I was honored to receive this award from the Original Outstanding Gentlemen of Las Vegas in recognition of my work to support veterans here in southern Nevada and across the country! I will always stand up for the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to keep our”.
On October 6, Lee acknowledged Southern Nevada’s Filipino community during a cultural celebration: “Southern Nevada has one of the fastest growing Filipino communities in the country! They make our community an incredible place to live, work, and raise a family. Honored to join National Federation of Filipino American Associations at this year’s Fiesta Filipino. Happy Filipino”.
Lee has served as representative since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. In addition to her congressional role representing a diverse region that includes many immigrant communities such as Filipinos, Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
