Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on her official social media account between March 7 and March 8, 2026. Her posts addressed health care costs, local engagement with the National Park Service at Lake Mead, and International Women’s Day.
On March 7, Lee highlighted rising health care expenses through a personal story from one of her constituents: “Health care is more expensive than ever. My constituent, Katie Provost, knows this all too well. Last week, I brought Katie as my guest to the State of the Union. She is a Las Vegas working mom whose health care costs jumped from $85 to nearly $750 a month after Republicans”.
The following day, Lee shared an update about her visit to Lake Mead: “Perfect conditions for a boat ride on Lake Mead! Great to tour the Boulder Basin and learn more about the National Park Service’s priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Can’t wait to get back on the Lake!”. The post referenced discussions with officials regarding management issues at the national recreation area.
Later on March 8, Lee marked International Women’s Day by recognizing women who have advanced gender equality: “This International Women’s Day, I’m thinking of the trailblazing women who broke barriers and the women still fighting for equality today.”
Susie Lee has served as Nevada’s 3rd District representative since replacing Jacky Rosen in 2019. Born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and now residing in Las Vegas, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
