Congresswoman Susie Lee, who represents Nevada’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on her official social media account between April 16 and April 17, 2026.

On April 16, Lee acknowledged longtime local weather forecaster Sherry for her service to the community. She wrote, “For over 30 years, Sherry has been a trusted voice and familiar face on our TVs. When I wake up to watch the news, Sherry is giving her weather forecast! Thank you for your dedication to our community – best of luck on your new chapter, Sherry!”.

Later that day, Lee commented on former President Donald Trump’s visit to southern Nevada. In her post dated April 16, she stated: “Wake up Las Vegas. Donald Trump is coming to southern Nevada to sell his tax law but his reckless policies are costing you an extra $6,000.”

On April 17, Lee expressed appreciation for her staff with the message: “Grateful for my awesome team on the ground while I’m in D.C.! #TeamLee is everywhere!”

Lee has represented Nevada’s 3rd congressional district since 2019 after succeeding Jacky Rosen. She was born in Canton, Ohio in 1966 and currently resides in Las Vegas. Lee holds a bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
