UNLV falls 6-1 to Grand Canyon as Cooper Sheff plays for Rebels

On Saturday, April 11, at 6 p.m., the UNLV Rebels, with former Basic Academy of International Studies star Cooper Sheff on the roster, were defeated 6-1 by the Grand Canyon Antelopes in NCAA Division I baseball action.

The matchup was held at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark and marked the teams’ second contest this season. UNLV emerged victorious in the previous meeting Friday, April 10, with a 13-8 win.

Sheff finished the game with one hit over four at-bats and struck out twice.

The Rebels are scheduled to play the Antelopes again on Sunday, April 12, at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark.
