The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) track and field team will travel to Fullerton, California, for the Ben Brown Invite, according to a March 11 announcement. The event will take place at the Titan Track Complex with competitions scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

The meet’s main events are set for Friday, when UNLV will have five athletes—Gabby Goodgames, Jada Lujan, Kayli Middleton, Juliana Roberson, and Mya Wiley—competing in the long jump at 2:30 p.m., as well as Amaya Mitchell-Howard participating in the hammer throw at 12:30 p.m. Saturday’s schedule begins with the discus throw at noon and includes track events starting with the 4×100 meter relay at 11:10 a.m. In total, 31 UNLV athletes are expected to compete during the week. Six members of the team—Lauren Brown, Kenley Gowdy, Alyssa Holmes, Victoria Perrow, Mikah Scott, and Mya Wiley—will make their season debuts.

Last week marked the start of UNLV’s outdoor campaign with Sophia Clark and Roxene Simpson competing at the Beach Opener. Simpson finished second in the discus throw while Clark placed ninth overall.

Fans can follow updates on Rebel track and field through links available on the team’s schedule page. Live updates will also be provided on X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram accounts managed by UNLV track and field.

The upcoming competition provides an opportunity for both returning athletes and newcomers to showcase their abilities early in the outdoor season.
