The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) women’s golf team will close its regular season on April 6 at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona. The tournament is set to take place at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club, a par-72 course measuring 6,212 yards.
The event will feature a field of 21 teams. UNLV will compete against schools including host Wyoming, No. 19 Arizona State, No. 22 Iowa State, Boise State, Brigham Young University (BYU), Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon University, Long Beach State, Montana, New Mexico and New Mexico State. Other participating teams are Oral Roberts University, Sacramento State, Santa Clara University, Southern Utah University (SUU), UC Riverside (UCR), the University of Nevada Reno (UNR), and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).
Representing UNLV in the lineup are junior Zi Yu Foong; freshmen Demi Du and Lana Yamagata; sophomore Amber Chen; and junior Jane Huang. Freshman Len Yiu will compete as an individual participant.
The competition schedule includes two rounds totaling 36 holes on Tuesday followed by an additional round of 18 holes on Wednesday for the final round. Play begins each day with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., and live scoring updates will be available through Scoreboard Powered by Clippd.
In their previous tournament appearance at South Dakota State’s Jackrabbits Invitational held at Boulder Creek Golf Club, UNLV achieved both team and individual titles. Throughout the current season spanning from fall to spring competitions in 2025-26 so far—including fourth-place finishes at both the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic and their home Lady Luck Invitational—the Rebels have posted three top-five results.
