City of Boulder recently issued the following announcement.
Boulder City Fire Department and Police Department responded to the scene of an ultralight plane crash off of US 95 near the 51-mile marker today at 1:45 p.m. It is believed only one person was on board and is deceased. Our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victim.
The incident is not impacting traffic on US 95. The FAA has been contacted and will be leading the investigation.
