The Indoor Football League (IFL) National Championship games will be held at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson for the next three years.
Gov. Steve Sisolak (D-Nev.) revealed the news in a press release.
"Bringing the Indoor Football League’s National Championship game to Henderson for the next three years is a huge win for our community and for the IFL," Sisolak said in the release. "These events bring visitors to our state, boosting our economy and helping keep Nevadans employed. More and more of these events are going to come to Nevada, the unequivocal sports capital of the world!”
This season's event will be held on August 13, the league said in a press release. The Dollar Loan Center features 5,667 seats and is located near the Las Vegas Strip.
"We have been major fans of Indoor Football since its inception," Chuck Brennan, founder and CEO of Dollar Loan Center, said in the IFL press release. “Not only were we able to bring an IFL team to our state-of-the-art new venue in Henderson (Vegas Knight Hawks), but now we are bringing the biggest game of the year to our house for the next three years. Elated would be an understatement from team DLC.”
The winner of the Western Conference and Eastern Conference championship games will compete to be named the victor of the 13th IFL championship, the league said.
