Congresswoman Susie Lee, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 3rd district since 2019, recently shared several posts on her social media account discussing various events and issues.
On January 27, 2025, she posted about celebrating the Lunar New Year at a local event. "Great to celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Vietnamese American Community of Las Vegas’s Tet Festival today! I’m hoping the Year of the Snake brings good luck, health, and prosperity to all our Vietnamese American families this year."
Later that day, she addressed International Holocaust Remembrance Day. In her post from January 27, 2025, she emphasized remembrance and vigilance against hate. "On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the 6 million Jewish people, and countless more, who were killed during the Holocaust. Their loss is still felt today. Let it serve as a reminder to always stand up against the horrors of antisemitism and hate."
In another tweet on January 27, 2025, Congresswoman Lee expressed her support for U.S. military personnel's healthcare needs by co-sponsoring legislation aimed at investigating service-related diseases among aviators and aircrew members. "U.S. aviators and aircrew deserve the best care possible when it comes to diseases that may have been caused by their service to our nation. I’m cosponsoring a bipartisan bill to better understand exactly what that correlation is so we can act on it."
