Henderson, Nev. – The Henderson police officer involved in the June 20, 2024, officer-involved shooting in the area of Margarita Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard has been identified as Officer Tyler Travers.
Officer Travers has been employed with the City of Henderson Police Department since December 2017 and is currently assigned to the Field Operations Bureau.
Officer Travers has been placed on paid administrative leave, per department policy.
This is the second officer-involved shooting for 2024.
