Congresswoman Susie Lee, who has represented Nevada's 3rd district since 2019, shared a series of tweets on January 28, 2025. The tweets cover various topics from supporting local businesses to advocating for justice for radiation exposure victims and expressing concerns about healthcare implications under former President Trump's policies.

In her first tweet on January 28, Lee highlighted her visit to a local business in Las Vegas. She stated: "Kicking off the new year with a fresh #SusieShopsSmall visit to Marsigliano’s Pizza! Later that day, Lee addressed the National Day of Remembrance for Downwinders. She expressed solidarity with southern Nevadans affected by nuclear testing and reaffirmed her commitment to legislative action. Her tweet read: "Today is National Day of Remembrance for Downwinders, and I’m thinking of every southern Nevadan who was exposed to harmful radiation as a result of nuclear testing. I’m fighting to get them the justice they deserve by finally passing the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act."

Finally, Lee expressed her concerns about potential healthcare impacts due to former President Trump's actions. In her tweet, she said: " My biggest concern about President Trump’s latest attempt to build a monarchy is that families, seniors, veterans, and the sick across this country will suffer because of it. Hospitals, healthcare providers, and nonprofits will be forced to discontinue services or shut down.…"
