Susie Lee, a U.S. Congresswoman serving Nevada’s 3rd district since 2019, recently addressed several issues on social media. Her comments included an analysis of tariffs, well-wishes for cultural holidays, and her ongoing communication with constituents.
On April 12th, Congresswoman Lee shared her concerns about the impact of tariffs, stating, "Targeted tariffs are one thing, but blanket tariffs with no clear strategy have decimated retirement savings, will jack up everyday costs, and hurt small businesses." She noted that many entrepreneurs she speaks with are worried about their ability to remain open.
The following day, April 13th, Lee noted the observance of a significant cultural event, saying, "Tonight, Jewish families in southern Nevada and around the world are observing the first night of Passover." She extended her wishes for a happy Passover to those celebrating.
In celebration of another cultural event, Lee expressed her sentiments on April 14th, wishing the Sikh community well, "Wishing all our Sikh neighbors in southern Nevada a cheerful Vaisakhi during this celebration of faith and new beginnings!"
Susie Lee is known for her work in Congress and her representation of Nevada's 3rd district since taking office in 2019. Born in Canton, Ohio, she graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and now resides in Las Vegas.
