Congresswoman Susie Lee, representing Nevada’s 3rd district since 2019, has recently expressed her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Born in Canton, Ohio, and currently residing in Las Vegas, Lee graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BA. Her comments address significant national topics such as budget allocations, employment impacts on veterans and farmers, and recognition of Vietnam veterans.

On February 22, 2025, Congresswoman Lee criticized the House Republican budget plan. She stated: "The House Republican budget is a simple formula: cut Medicaid to pay for tax cuts for billionaires & big corporations." She also mentioned meeting with individuals who understand the critical role Medicaid plays for families, seniors in nursing homes, and people with disabilities.

Later that day, she highlighted the consequences of certain political actions by stating: "These actions have real consequences. Firing people who take care of our veterans and support our farmers doesn’t help anyone—it just ruins lives."

In another tweet posted on February 22, 2025, Congresswoman Lee shared her experience honoring local Vietnam veterans. She wrote: "It was an honor to present some of our local Vietnam veterans today with Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pins." She expressed gratitude for their sacrifices that ensure freedom and safety.
