Western Nevada College recently issued the following announcement.
“As we review 2021, WNC faculty and staff have demonstrated enduring optimism while navigating through the befuddling year. I am grateful for the remarkable people at WNC and for their steadfast commitment to our students. Looking to 2022, I am hopeful students will feel confident in their studies while navigating the economic uncertainties that lie ahead. While the global pandemic still lingers, there is much to say about the resilience of our communities. Through the generosity of our supporters, scholarship support grew by 30% from 2020 to 2021. Those who invest in advanced training and education understand that the workforce must adjust to the new economic realities to create a sustainable future for our communities. All of us share the fortitude to unlock the power of community-led growth. There is much to do in 2022, cheers to all of you, know that I celebrate you.” – J. Kyle Dalpe, Ph.D., Officer in Charge, Western Nevada College
